The team behind Propagate started in 2022 with Shotgunflat’s acquisition of Shields Design Studio, forming Shields SGF. Acom Healthcare, a health science marketing company, joined the family in 2024, forming Acom SGF. In 2025, Communication Arts Group was acquired by Shields SGF.
